We were all on a ferry but the ferry was a bit like a haunted house and there was a dark pub which was safe and you served yourself but the drinks were 5.75 each which is kind of bullshit.

We went to the pub because we wanted to waste time for the ferry ride, so I assume we were going to Nanaimo, and in the dream I’d already taken the Bowen Island ferry from Langdale to Keats (??). Also, as my family and I were making our way up to the passenger deck we saw famous people, Johnny Depp and the like. I think there must have been something filming in Gibsons because we didn’t care.

Anyways, eventually I ditched the family and went to the pub, Mike, Steve and Tyrone, and Ben were playing four way chess and the rest of us were at the bar or milling about. Right by the bar there was a theatre (like, four feet away inside wherever we were at) and I went in once and a doll/young blonde woman was hanging by her limbs like a marionette, but it looked comfy, like she was on a swing. She looked at my like a creepy doll might and I shrugged my shoulders and left.

Later, I went back into the theater from a side entrance closest to her and she looked at me and I just left again. I went and told everyone that there was a creepy full sized marionette in the theatre, and after a little while Sarah went to the theatre. She didn’t come back for a while, and so I went to go check it out and Sarah managed to be comepletely tied to the ceiling which was pretty low up by the projectionist saying “I didn’t ask for this!” But in a more frustrated way than a scared way. I looked at the marionette who was still in her spot but starting to move, so I called into the bar that we should all chase her, and everyone came rushing in. Then we started chasing her through the seats and SOMEONE started yelling out yakkity saks.

I think it ended when I made a citizens arrest on the marionette and just.. left her in the spooky theatre and someone asked me if I could sing any of the songs from Snow White but I realize now the song I was thinking of was from Sleeping Beauty.

My only regret is there will never be a ferry as awesome as my spooky-but-not-really one… I think it was called the Queen of Grandmothers.
